What information we collect
When you complete a quote request form or contact us we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, telephone number, email address, the town or postcode of the property, and a description of the work you need. If you send photographs of the job, we hold those too.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare and discuss your fixed price quote, arrange access to carry out work, issue paperwork such as invoices and gas certification, and deal with any guarantee matters afterwards. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Legal basis
We process your information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform that contract, and to meet legal obligations that apply to gas work and business records.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to do the job or meet an obligation: for example with a merchant supplying materials for your installation, with a boiler manufacturer when registering your warranty, with Gas Safe Register for notification of gas work, or with our accountant and insurers. The providers of our website and enquiry systems process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Because we guarantee labour and pipework for 10 years and boilers carry manufacturer warranties of 5 to 12 years, we keep job records for as long as those guarantees may be claimed, and we keep financial records for the period required by law. Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted once they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or object to how we use it.
